Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet M-50 supersonic strategic bomber in 1:144 scale from Mikromir. Short-run molds have fine surface detail but coarser gates and fewer locating features than mass-produced kits, so the build is more demanding and is recommended to more experienced modelers. Check the exact contents against the packaging.
The Myasishchev M-50 (NATO reporting name Bounder) was a Soviet prototype of a supersonic strategic bomber from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It was marked by a large delta wing and four engines and was to reach high speeds over long distances. The machine remained at the prototype stage and never reached production or service; it was shown to the wider public at an air display, where the West gave it its reporting name.
Use liquid cement for plastic and expect to sand the parting lines down and clean the gates up. Cut the smaller parts off carefully. Apply primer before painting, as it reveals any gaps; an airbrush will help to lay the metallic and light shades typical of this machine on evenly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
