According to the manufacturer the box offers two color marking options. Check the exact package contents against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Type II boats were small German coastal submarines designed in the 1930s; their cramped quarters earned them the nickname canoes. The IIB version was the most numerous subvariant and the Kriegsmarine used it for training as well as for combat patrols. At the start of the Second World War these boats laid mines in the approaches to British ports and river mouths and operated against shipping, among other places in the area of the English Channel.
Glue the hull halves together with thin cement for plastic and sand the seam on the smooth side carefully, while protecting the fine raised weld seams and the holes in the side. Choose the type of conning tower to match the boat you are depicting. Decide on a full hull on a stand or a waterline model. Paint the bottom in antifouling paint and the rest in Kriegsmarine shades of gray. Add the railings, the deck gun, the periscopes and the deck details at the end and even the surface out with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
