Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM captures the three-axle off-road parade car Mercedes-Benz G4 in the 1935 production version, in 1:24 scale. The box contains a faithful eight-cylinder engine, the drivetrain, a chassis frame with integrated fenders, multi-part axles and a well detailed interior. Registration plates and neutral staff pennants for several marking options are included.
The Mercedes-Benz G4 was a large seven-seat off-road car designed in the middle of the 1930s. It was powered by an inline eight-cylinder engine and, thanks to its two driven rear axles (a 6x4 layout), it could cope away from paved roads as well. Only a few dozen of these cars were built and they served mainly for parade and staff duties of the German leadership.
Build the detailed engine and the axles in subassemblies and paint them before you close up the body. An airbrush over a primer is recommended, with washes and pigments to bring out the complex chassis and fenders. Finish the interior before you seat the body.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
