Weapons and equipment of the Italian infantry of the First World War 1:35 is a plastic add-on set from the manufacturer ICM with weapons and field equipment for dioramas and figure scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detailed plastic set from the manufacturer ICM in 1:35 scale brings a complete collection of weapons and personal equipment of the Italian infantry from the period of the First World War. It is not a model of a vehicle or a kit of a figure but an add-on set meant for livening up dioramas and display case scenes and for complementing soldiers. The parts are injection-molded in plastic and are assembled with ordinary cement for plastic.
The set takes in the typical infantry weapons and equipment of the Italian army of the period: bolt-action rifles and carbines, submachine guns, pistols and revolvers with holsters, trench clubs, hand grenades, bayonets, period steel helmets, gas masks, entrenching tools, pickaxes, mess tins, canteens and other small equipment. The items are finely detailed and suited to 1:35 scale.
Cut the parts off the sprues with a sharp knife and glue the cleaned-up surfaces with liquid cement for plastic. Bring out the metal parts in shades of steel, the wooden stocks in brown tones and the fabric straps in the gray-green of the period. A final weathering with a wash and a dry brush will give the equipment a realistically worn look.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
