The set 1:16 US grenades + decals from the brand Firma49 joins printed American grenades with a sheet of decals, with which their markings are completed.

A version of the accessory set in which, beside the American grenades, decals are enclosed as well. It is precisely they that set it apart from the variant without them; otherwise it is the same subject in 1:16 scale. The item is made by the Czech brand Firma49 on printers working with light-cured resin.
Painting lettering and colored bands by hand onto an object a few millimeters across is a nut to crack even in a large scale. A decal does the same work in a moment and the line stays crisp. Lay a gloss clear coat under the decal, so that no silvery bubbles form under the film, and once dry seal it with a matte one. The result will then take a close look and a macro lens alike.
Cut the supporting blocks off a little way from the part and sand the rest down with fine paper. The material is smooth, but paint will hold on it only after a primer. Choose the shade according to the period and the army you want to depict. Transfer the decals with tweezers from lukewarm water and press them down with a cotton swab, so that they follow the rounded casing. In a large scale it is worth adding light chipping on the edges as well, because objects carried on webbing wear quickly and a uniform surface looks artificial.
The finish and the clear coat are obtained separately; they are not in the package.
