An injection-molded plastic kit of the Audi R8 road supercar in 1:24 scale from the German brand Revell. The model faithfully captures the low coupe body, the striking side panels, the glazing and a detailed interior and chassis. The package contains parts in hard plastic, clear glazing parts, chrome accessories, rubber tires and a decal sheet. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Audi R8 was the first production supercar from Audi. It grew out of the Le Mans quattro concept and went on sale in the second half of the 2000s. With its engine mounted ahead of the rear axle, quattro all-wheel drive and a light aluminum space frame, the car quickly became a modern icon. Characteristic are the large intake openings, the contrasting side blade panels and the sharply cut headlights.
Join the parts with a thin modeling cement for plastic. The body is best sprayed with an airbrush over a filler primer, and a gloss shade should be given a coat of clear varnish once dry, only then the decals. Glue the chrome and clear parts at the end, ideally with a cement for transparent plastics, so that they do not fog. Bring the interior to life by setting the plastics, the leather and the metal details apart, and pick the panel gaps out with a dark washable shade.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
