Sets of this type usually contain small accessories such as containers, jerrycans, tools, traffic items and other fittings that can fill a cab, a cargo bed or the area around the model. They make a scene feel more alive and credible than a bare model.
The small parts are glued with plastic modeling cement, or cyanoacrylate glue for finer joints. It pays to color-differentiate the individual objects and add light weathering, which gives the accessories a worn, used look. Bring out the various surfaces with dry-brushing and pigments.
