An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter in its late production version in 1:32 scale from ICM. The large scale allows rich detail of the cockpit and of the power unit. The model is supplied unglued and unpainted.
The AH-1G Cobra was the world's first production attack helicopter, used from the second half of the 1960s. Its narrow fuselage with tandem cockpits and armament in a nose turret became an icon. Late production machines differed in some details, among others in the arrangement of the tail rotor.
In the large scale the cockpit interior really shows, so it is best to finish and paint it before you close the fuselage. Use liquid cement for plastic, a filler primer and an airbrush; masking the frames brings out the cockpit glazing and fine weathering emphasizes the complex surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
