1:32 DH.82A Tiger Moth is a plastic kit of the British trainer biplane from the Ukrainian brand ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian brand ICM. The large scale lets the wire rigging between the wings, the open cockpits and the inverted inline engine under the narrow cowling stand out. The box is devoted to machines that served with the air forces of various countries, so the decal sheet offers more than one national marking.
The Tiger Moth came about at the beginning of the 1930s as a de Havilland trainer. The upper wings were given a pronounced forward stagger so that a pupil in the front cockpit could get out with a parachute even in flight, and the inverted inline Gipsy Major engine gave the machine undemanding, reliable power. More than eight thousand were built and the Royal Air Force trained beginner pilots on them until the end of the 1950s. The machine did not stay at home, though: it flew in Belgium, in France, in Portugal, in Sweden and in Norway, where it was built under license, and a number went to the United States. To this day it is among the most widespread airworthy biplanes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue and paints do not belong to it.
