Indian Sikh Rifles (1942) in 1:35 scale is a plastic figure set from the manufacturer ICM with four figures of Indian soldiers of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set holds four figures of Indian Sikh riflemen of 1942. The figures are captured in the period uniforms of the British Indian Army with their characteristic turbans and gear. They are glued and painted and suit dioramas as well as a standalone presentation.
Sikh regiments were among the traditional and highly regarded parts of the British Indian Army, and in the Second World War they fought on a number of fronts, among them North Africa and Asia. The year 1942 was one of the periods of intense fighting. The figures recall these Commonwealth units.
Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the parting lines with a fine file. A primer underneath makes the painting easier; build up the uniforms from the base tone toward the lightened areas. The turbans and the faces come out after a light wash and a dry brush to bring out the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
