A kit of the German truck Lastkraftwagen 3.5 t AHN with a box body in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation Lastkraftwagen 3.5 t AHN was carried by a truck of French manufacture used by the German army in the Second World War. The number in the designation gives the payload class, that is three and a half tons of cargo. The vehicle had the classic layout of its day: the engine at the front under a long hood, the cab for the crew behind it and the load area at the rear. In the version with a box body it carried a closed box instead of the open bed, from which work could go on in bad weather and at night. Vehicles like this belonged to the inconspicuous but indispensable part of every army, because without support the combat vehicles do not get far.
It is a model in 1:35 scale, that is the same size in which most tanks and military vehicles are built; the truck will therefore fit into a diorama beside them. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of parts and the range of color options are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the kit.
Glue the parts with a cement intended for plastic kits and test fit them dry before gluing. Finish and paint the glazing of the cab and the inside of the box before you close the whole up; afterwards there is no way in. Mask the windows before spraying; the mask is applied before the paint goes on and is taken off while the coat is still fresh. Trucks carried their dirt above all on the chassis and on the lower part of the box, so concentrate the weathering there and keep the upper surfaces more subdued.
Paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
