ICM 1:35 Leyland Retriever General Service is a plastic kit of the British three-axle truck of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British army Leyland Retriever truck in the General Service version in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. It is a recent, finely tooled kit with a richly broken-down cargo body and chassis.
The Leyland Retriever was a British heavy truck with a 6x4 layout, used by the army throughout the Second World War. It was powered by a gasoline engine and had a simple gearbox, leaf springs and an open cab. In many configurations it served as a universal carrier, a workshop or a signals vehicle and it was built in large numbers.
Paint the interior and the running gear before you close the cargo body and the cab. Use liquid cement for plastic and a primer before painting. British khaki schemes come to life with gentle lightening of the surfaces and with washes; mud and dust pigments on the chassis emphasize field service. The vehicle is a rewarding basis for a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
