The hull can be built as a full hull or as a waterline version. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
USS Franklin (CV-13), nicknamed Big Ben, was an Essex class aircraft carrier of the US Navy. She became known as one of the most heavily hit aircraft carriers that nevertheless survived the Second World War, after a Japanese attack damaged her in 1945. In her 1944 state she carried a full carrier air group and fought in the Pacific.
It is a good idea to lay the build out as the hull, the flight deck, the island superstructure and the aircraft. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Do the flight deck and the camouflage scheme with an airbrush and masks; bring the details out with a wash. The aircraft can be built with the wings folded.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
