Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the famous sailing ship HMS Victory in 1:450 scale from Revell. The model represents a first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, aboard which Admiral Horatio Nelson commanded the combined fleet at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. To make the build easier, the masts are made in one piece and the sails are glued on as finished parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
HMS Victory was launched in 1765 and as a first-rate ship of the line carried over a hundred guns on several gun decks. She became best known as Nelson's flagship on 21 October 1805 off Cape Trafalgar, where the British fleet decisively defeated the combined French and Spanish navies. It was on her deck that Nelson was mortally wounded during the battle. The ship has survived to this day and is on display at Portsmouth.
First assemble and paint the hull and the decks, and only then fit the masts. Wooden surfaces will stand out with darker tones and a fine wash that brings out the texture of the decks and the sides. Run the rigging patiently according to the instructions; taut threads will give the model a realistic look. Use liquid cement for plastic for a firm hold and place the small parts with tweezers. The finished model will stand out on the stand included in the kit.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
