A 1:48 plastic kit of the German transport glider Gotha Go 242A from the maker ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Gotha Go 242A transport glider of the Second World War in 1:48 scale from the maker ICM. It is an engineless cargo glider; the box contains a detailed interior and decals for several machines. The model has a large span and an impressive presence in a display case.
The Go 242 was a Luftwaffe transport glider with a roomy cargo cabin and a hinged rear section for loading. It could carry about 21 troops or cargo, for example a light vehicle or a gun. It was towed into the air by tow aircraft; the A version had no power of its own.
Since it is a glider without an engine, the heart of the build is the richly broken-down interior of the cargo hold — finish and paint the seats, the instrument panel and the machine guns before you close the fuselage. Mask the extensive glazing of the cockpit carefully. Paint with an airbrush over a base coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
