An injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engine Junkers Ju 88A-11 bomber in 1:48 scale from ICM. It is the tropical version derived from the widespread A-4, adapted for use in hot and dusty regions. The kit is supplied as a set of plastic parts to be glued and painted.
The Ju 88 was among the most important and most widespread German bombers of the Second World War. The A-11 version was a factory tropical variant of the A-4, fitted with dust filters and emergency equipment for the crew. It was deployed in North Africa and the Mediterranean, where the dusty conditions called for special modifications to the engines and the aircraft.
Mask the glazed canopy and spray it separately; the engine nacelles and the landing gear deserve care. Glue with thin cement for plastic and go over the surfaces with a primer. A desert scheme with sand shades stands out with an airbrush and with a fine dust patina using pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
