An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi Ki-21 heavy bomber, known to the Allies under the code name Sally, in 1:48 scale from ICM. Besides the aircraft the package also contains a set of figures, Japanese airmen and ground personnel, so the model can be set straight into a scene. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Ki-21 was the standard Japanese heavy bomber of the late 1930s, deployed among other places over China and in the opening phases of the war in the Pacific. The Ki-21-Ib version brought changes based on combat experience, including strengthened defensive armament. You recognize the aircraft by its glazed nose and the characteristic dorsal cockpit.
Finish the interior of the cockpit first and only then close the fuselage up. Glue with liquid cement for plastic, sand the joints down, apply primer and spray with an airbrush. Paint the figures separately and set them into a scene of the aircraft being prepared on the ground.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
