An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Polikarpov U-2 biplane in the VS version (later designated Po-2VS) in 1:48 scale from ICM. The package contains plastic parts, clear parts and a decal sheet with several marking options.
The Polikarpov U-2 was one of the most widespread aircraft in history; it first flew in 1927 and served above all as a basic trainer. In the VS version it proved itself as a light night bomber, often operating with female crews. After the death of its designer it was renamed the Po-2 in 1944.
On a biplane, align the struts and the bracing wires carefully; the bracing wires can be added with a flexible thread. Use liquid cement for plastic, accent the fabric covering of the wings with a fine wash and finish the interior before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
