ICM 1:48 WWII German Aircraft Armament is an injection-molded plastic set of Luftwaffe aircraft bombs and torpedoes in 1:48 scale, meant to arm aircraft models or to fill an airfield diorama.

This injection-molded plastic set from ICM brings a selection of Luftwaffe aircraft armament in 1:48 scale. It contains SC and SD type bombs in the 50, 250 and 500 kg weight classes, including variants with the so-called Dinort extensions, and two torpedoes with their trolleys. It is an accessory set, not an aircraft model.
The most widespread German aircraft bombs were high-explosive bombs with a thin-walled SC casing or a thick-walled SD casing, fitted with side fuzes. Some bombs carried extended impact rods, the Dinort extensions, which made them burst just above the ground. Besides bombs, the maritime units also used torpedoes, employed in the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and northern Europe.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Fill and sand the parting lines. Apply a filler primer before painting. The bombs and torpedoes come alive under an airbrush, and you can bring out the panel lines and worn areas with a wash and pigments. The set also suits bringing an airfield diorama to life.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
