The model uses the easy-click system: the parts join by a simple snap, so no glue is needed for the build. The boxing follows the form of the New Republic machine from the world of The Mandalorian and Grogu and is ideal as a quick and striking project.
The X-wing is a fictional single-seat starfighter from the Star Wars universe, famous for its four wings (S-foils), which open for combat into the characteristic shape of the letter X. In the story it serves as a symbol of the rebels and later of the New Republic, which uses it to keep order after the fall of the Empire. It is among the most iconic machines of the whole saga.
Thanks to the easy-click system you can assemble the model without glue; for firmer joints, though, you can use a drop of cement for plastic. On the subject the wings can be opened into the X combat position or folded; the landing gear tends to be optional. The model is finished as soon as it is assembled, but anyone after a realistic look will appreciate a coat of base paint and weathering that picks out the engraving and the wear.
