An injection-molded plastic kit of the German destroyer Z-25 in her 1944 fit, in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The model can be built either full hull or waterline, and a display stand and photo-etched parts are included. The finished model measures about 18.2 cm.
The Z-25 was one of the German Type 1936A destroyers of the Second World War. Ships of this class carried main guns of 150 mm caliber, heavy anti-aircraft armament, torpedo tubes and gear for laying depth charges. The model captures the later wartime configuration of the ship.
Decide in advance between full hull and waterline. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, and the small and photo-etched parts with super glue. After priming, paint with an airbrush; the fine gun barrels, the mast and the railings will benefit from a photo-etched set.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
