An injection-molded plastic kit of the American battleship USS Wisconsin in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the ship in its 1991 configuration. The hull can be built full for a stand or as a waterline model. The box contains hull and superstructure parts, rotating gun turrets, decals and instructions.
USS Wisconsin (BB-64) was an Iowa class battleship that served in the Second World War, in the Korean War and in the Gulf War. In its 1991 form it combined main armament of 406 mm caliber with modern guided missiles and electronics matching service at the start of the 1990s.
Glue with a thin plastic cement. Decide in advance between the full hull and the waterline version. After a base coat, use an airbrush and a wash to bring out the decks and the superstructures. The railings and radars can be replaced with finer aftermarket photo-etched parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
