Trumpeter Fw 200 C-4 Condor 1:72 is an extensive plastic kit of the German four-engine long-range maritime aircraft from the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The extensive injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Trumpeter represents the German four-engine aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor in the C-4 version in 1:72 scale. It is a large and richly broken-up model with an elaborate pilot compartment, clear glazing parts and decals for several marking variants.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor originally came about as a civil long-range transport aircraft and in the Second World War it was adapted for military tasks. The C-4 version served as a long-range maritime patrol and anti-shipping aircraft, carried radar and was deployed over the Atlantic to search out and attack convoys. Thanks to its great range it was among the feared opponents of Allied shipping.
On a large model, take care to glue the fuselage firmly and to seat the engine nacelles and the flying surfaces precisely. Use thin cement for plastic and sand the joints down. Mask the glazing before spraying. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is suitable for an even coat over large areas and for the two-tone camouflage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
