ICM I-5 is a plastic kit of the Soviet fighter biplane in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from ICM capturing the Soviet fighter biplane Polikarpov I-5 in 1:72 scale. The model has an engraved panel surface, a subtle effect of the fabric covering over the framework, a detailed open cockpit and a full radial engine. Decals for two machines of the Soviet Air Force are enclosed.
The Polikarpov I-5 was a single-seat biplane which from its introduction in 1931 became one of the main Soviet fighters and later served as an advanced trainer. After the attack on the Soviet Union the surviving machines were armed with machine guns and bomb racks and used as light ground-attack and night bomber aircraft.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and the engine before closing the fuselage. With a biplane, pay attention to the precise seating of the upper wing and the struts; the bracing wires will complete the final impression. A suitable matte varnish will support the matte fabric surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
