Injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Kawasaki Ki-10-II fighter biplane in 1:72 scale from ICM. The box contains gray and clear plastic and decals. It is an interesting subject from the end of the era of fighter biplanes, which will please collectors of prewar Japanese aviation.
The Kawasaki Ki-10 was a Japanese fighter biplane, accepted by the army as the Type 95 fighter. The Ki-10-II version had a lengthened fuselage and reworked wings for better handling. From 1937 the aircraft took part in the fighting of the Sino-Japanese War and it was also deployed in the conflict at the Khalkhin Gol river. It was among the last Japanese fighter biplanes before the monoplanes came in.
Use liquid cement for plastic and finish the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. With a biplane, take care over the accurate seating of the upper wing and the struts, and do not forget the bracing wires, which give the model its typical period look. Lay down a primer before the color coats and apply the paints with an airbrush. Natural metal or a light gray-green is typical of prewar machines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
