An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet MiG-25BM aircraft in 1:72 scale from ICM. The package holds light gray plastic sprues, clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet. The model is assembled and painted.
The MiG-25 was a high-speed twin-engine aircraft famous for its exceptional speed and ceiling. The BM version was intended for the suppression of ground air defenses and carried anti-radiation armament. Its robust airframe, the pair of fins and the massive engine intakes are characteristic. The machine was one of the striking types of the Cold War.
Dry-fit the parts and, on the large fuselage, watch for clean joints of the leading edges and the engine intakes. Use thin liquid cement on the plastic, mask the canopy glazing and fit it at the end. A primer, a unified surface and a final airbrush coat are recommended; a gloss clear coat under the decals makes them settle more easily.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
