This injection-molded plastic kit from the Polish maker First to Fight captures the light OA vz. 30 armored car in 1:72 scale. The model represents the vehicle under its German designation Panzerspähwagen 30(t), that is in the form taken over by the Wehrmacht. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The OA vz. 30 was a Czechoslovak light armored reconnaissance car developed in the mid-1930s by Tatra. After the occupation of the Czech lands some of the vehicles were taken over by Germany, while others served with Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. The armament consisted of two machine guns, one in the front and the other in the turret.
Assemble and, if you wish, paint the suspension and the chassis before you close the hull. Use a thin plastic cement and a primer under the paint. An airbrush suits period camouflage, and final washes and pigments then give the vehicle faithful dust and mud weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
