The MRTT designation refers to the multi-role tanker and transport form, and the Canadian designation CC-150 Polaris to the service of the same type there; this boxing is aimed at the Spanish Air Force. The Airbus A310 is a twin-engine widebody aircraft for medium and long routes, derived from the A300 with a shortened fuselage and a new wing. Besides civil service it also found a place with military operators, where it serves to carry people and cargo, for medical evacuation and, in the tanker configuration, for refueling in flight. Underwing engines and a two-crew flight deck are among the typical features of the generation the aircraft belongs to.
The long fuselage deserves careful gluing and sanding of the seams: on large smooth areas every irregularity shows. We recommend priming the model after assembly and polishing the surfaces, because the light and gloss finishes of civil and military transports forgive nothing. Apply the extensive decals onto a gloss base and use a softener. Leave the landing gear legs and the glazing until the end; mask the cockpit and the windows so that they do not fog. Given its dimensions, the model needs a stable base while it dries.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
