Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet command vehicle on the ZiL-131 chassis in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The vehicle carries an enclosed box body that served as a mobile command and signals post. The kit has a detailed chassis with its running gear, a cab with a basic interior and a paneled box body. The exact contents of the box and the number of marking options are not stated here.
The ZiL-131 was a Soviet general-purpose off-road truck with 6x6 drive which from the 1960s replaced older types on a large scale and became one of the most widespread vehicles of the Soviet Army. Its chassis served as the basis for many bodies: tankers, workshop trucks, radio stations and command shelters. The enclosed body protected the crew and the equipment and allowed staff and signals equipment to be operated in the field.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the running gear first, and only then close up the cab and the box body. Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush; the flat panels of the body come to life once the joints are brought out with a wash and dust and mud effects are added with pigments on the lower parts of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
