Acrylic Color YODA GREEN is a water-thinnable acrylic paint from Green Stuff World in a medium green position, used mainly on the green skin of figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A water-based acrylic from the Spanish workshop Green Stuff World, intended for figures and gaming models. It thins with water, dries quickly and once dry stands up to further coats. The name of the shade is only a descriptive allusion to a well known green skin from screen fantasy and it means no license and no connection to a gaming brand.
Green is almost never shaded with black. Black does not only reduce the lightness but the saturation too, and the shadow then looks like a dirty hole with no color. Color theory offers a better route: darken a shade with its complementary color. The complement of green is red, so even a small proportion of a dark red, a crimson or a red-brown reduces the lightness while the shadow stays colorful and warm. Add it drop by drop, because the way from dark green to brown is short. On skin that pays off twice over, as the eye reads a warm shadow in the folds as living tissue, while a black shadow looks like a plastic casting.
For players who paint figures in batches and need one reliable medium tone from which they mix the rest of the range themselves. Shake the bottle thoroughly before applying.
Keep out of the reach of children. When spraying, ventilate and protect your airways.
