Js Work Airbrush CAMO-MASK – Chieftain Mk.11 scheme 1, 1:35

A set of self-adhesive masking films of the CAMO-MASK line from Js Work for a model of the British Chieftain Mk.11 main battle tank, camouflage scheme 1, in 1:35 scale. The films are pre-cut to the shape of one particular pattern and let you spray a multicolor camouflage with clean transitions using an airbrush. The package contains neither paints nor the model.

The real subject

The Chieftain was a British main battle tank of the Cold War, heavily armored for its day and armed with a powerful gun. The Mk.11 version was one of the later updates. The vehicles carried various camouflage schemes, the first variant of which this set reproduces.

Use

• spray the model in the base color of the camouflage and let it dry
• lay the films onto the right places according to the guide
• spray a further shade over them and remove the masks carefully
• for softer edges lift the mask slightly above the surface
