About product

Mr.Paint AMT-6 Black, a lacquer paint for the airbrush

A lacquer-based modeling paint from the manufacturer Mr.Paint (MRP) in the matte black shade AMT-6. The paint is pre-thinned and ready to be sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle. The shade is based on the Soviet aircraft matte black AMT-6 from the AMT range of matte aircraft paints, used during the Second World War on the aircraft of the Soviet Air Force (VVS), both as part of the camouflage and for details and markings.

Use

  • spraying with an airbrush, ideally in several thin coats
  • camouflage areas and details of Soviet aircraft of the Second World War
  • thin with the lacquer thinner of the same range if needed
  • cleaning the airbrush with a lacquer cleaner or thinner
  • it bonds to plastic, resin and metal

Who it is for

For modelers who work with an airbrush, build Soviet aircraft from the period of the Second World War and are looking for an authentic matte black. Lacquer paints call for good ventilation and protection of the airways.

Intended for the airbrush. The lacquer is flammable and the vapors are harmful: use it in a well-ventilated area, with a respirator and gloves, away from open flame and out of the reach of children.
