AS-32 Medium Sea Gray 2 (RAF) 100ml

Tamiya AS-32 Medium Sea Gray 2 (RAF) (100 ml)

Tamiya AS-32 Medium Sea Gray 2 (RAF) is a synthetic lacquer in a spray can from the Aircraft Spray (AS) line, made for painting plastic aircraft models. The medium sea gray (RAF) shade matches the finish of British aircraft of the Second World War period, for example the lower surfaces and fuselage of Supermarine Spitfire fighters. The lacquer dries quickly, creates an even satin surface and is compatible with acrylic as well as enamel paints, so washes and weathering can be applied over a cured coat without worry. The can has a volume of 100 ml.

Use

• Shake the spray thoroughly before use so that the paint is mixed.
• Spray from a distance of about 25–30 cm in several thin coats: thin coats prevent runs and preserve the detail.
• Apply onto clean, degreased plastic or onto a base coat (primer) for better adhesion and a deeper shade.
• It suits the medium gray component of a period RAF camouflage scheme; combine it with other shades in the line.
• Let the lacquer dry between coats; full curing takes only a short time.

Who it is for

For modelers who build RAF aircraft of the Second World War and want a quick, even coat of authentic medium sea gray. A beginner as well as an advanced builder can use the spray with no need for an airbrush.

An aerosol under pressure, extremely flammable. Use only in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame and sources of ignition. Protect the can from heat and direct sunlight, do not pierce it or throw it into a fire. Keep out of the reach of children.
