A light beige tone with a pink cast is one of those shades that rarely cover a whole model, yet are invaluable everywhere a surface should look sunlit and bleached. It suits plaster and adobe walls in a diorama, dried timber, tarpaulins and canvas, light desert schemes, and it also works as a base under a flesh tone on figures. It serves well for lightening another color too, because a beige with a pink cast does not push the tone toward gray.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, otherwise the settled pigment covers unevenly. Apply the paint in several thin coats and let each one become tacky; a single heavy coat floods the fine surface detail and still ends up uneven. Take the thinner, the thinning ratio, the method of application and the cleaning of your tools from the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, and use the thinner intended for this line. Light shades cover a dark base poorly, so it is worth laying down a light base and adding one coat more.
Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting; on a greasy surface the coat lifts when you mask. Lay the masking tape only on paint that is fully dry and pull it off slowly and at an angle. The shade gains depth when you lay a dark wash into it once it has dried and pick out the edges. Close the bottle carefully after use and store it at room temperature so the paint does not thicken.
The thinner, brushes, airbrush and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
