A modeling paint from the ATOM range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez, a green shade named after Russian uniforms. It suits painting figures above all.
Responsibility details are not available.
The green from the ATOM range is named after the uniforms of the Russian army and on a model it serves as the base tone of the cloth. A uniform green is subdued and not very saturated, which is an advantage when painting figures: a shade like that sits well beside the surrounding tones of skin, of leather equipment and of weapons and does not overpower them. It can also be used on items of equipment, on tarpaulins and on carried gear, where the same cloth appears.
Lay an even base coat down first and let it dry. Then add a darker tone into the folds and under the bends of the cloth and a lighter one on the tops of the folds, on the shoulders and on the edges of the pockets; that very difference is what gives a figure depth in small scale. Build the transitions up with several thin, thinned coats rather than in one stroke. An evenly flat surface will finally unify the whole uniform and set it apart from the glossier leather parts.
Shake the bottle properly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Apply it in thin coats, as a heavy coat fills the fine folds in and takes the crispness off the modeling of the figure. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, and reach for the same thinner when cleaning brushes. Wash the brush out as you go, as dried paint at the ferrule ruins the tip.
The thinner, brushes and a figure are not included, unless stated otherwise.
