ATOM WWII Hungarian Army Colors Set is a six-part set of shades for Hungarian vehicles of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package from the ATOM range brings together six bottles covering the camouflage of Honved vehicles. In it you will find a yellow-brown base, a brown, two different greens and a dark gray; the last item is a washable white meant for winter oversprays. A range of six tones covers the base as well as the additional areas, so nothing else has to be added to it.
Hungarian units deployed their own Toldi, Nimrod, Turan and Zrinyi vehicles on the Eastern Front. The vehicles carried a three-color combination applied by hand, so the shape of the patches differs from one vehicle to the next and two identically sprayed hulls are practically impossible to find. Dark gray appeared on older machines and on weapons, and brown made up the smallest share of the area of all the tones. In winter an easily washable white was applied over them.
Start with a light base over the whole surface and only then lay softly bounded patches on it. Apply the winter layer thinly and take part of it carefully off with a damp brush, so that the coat underneath shows through; it is exactly this worn look that makes Hungarian vehicles recognizable at first glance. Keep the transitions between patches soft, as a sharp boundary matches postwar practice rather than period photographs.
Ventilate while working and keep the containers out of the reach of children.
