A small imitation of fasteners for models: a cone head with an internal hex in the 0.9 mm size. An accessory for models of motorcycles and other machinery with exposed mechanics.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small imitation of fasteners for models. The head has a cone shape, which on a real machine seats into a countersink and levels itself with the surrounding surface almost flush, and in its face it has a hexagonal recess for a key, that is the drive known as an Allen. The size given in the name is 0.9 mm.
An injection-molded kit tends to have the heads of the screws suggested only by a shallow relief, and when the seams are sanded nothing is left of them. A separate element gives the place back a sharp edge and a legible shape of drive, which plastic cannot hold at a size this small. On a motorcycle model countersunk screws tend to be visible on the engine covers, on the handlebar clamps, on the mounting of the brake discs and on the joints of the frame. A cone head suits above all where the surface around the screw is smooth and nothing is to stand out of it markedly.
For the modeler who is finishing a machine with exposed mechanics and wants the detail to stand up even in a close photograph. This is an accessory for a kit, not a kit in itself. A model, paints and glue are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
