0.8 mm, a head of wide flat shape with a straight slot, for building and detailing motorcycle models.
Responsibility details are not available.
0.8 mm is the size modelers reach for most often. It is large enough for the shape of the head to be noticeable in a photograph of a finished machine, and small enough not to look coarse. At the same time the upper half of the range begins here, which the brand also sells as a whole with several steps at once.
The most common mistake in assembly is the reverse order. If a model is painted with the heads already fitted, the paint fills the slot, rounds the edge off and all that is left of a sharp detail is a lump. So drill the holes, mask them with a piece of wire or a toothpick, spray, and only then reach for the metal.
A hole can be closed with an offcut of wire driven in tight; once dry it is pulled out with tweezers and the edge stays clean. Anyone masking with tape should press it down with a fingernail all around, otherwise the mist gets under it and the head will not then seat level.
One more small thing that gets overlooked: clean the dust from sanding out of the hole. Sanding residue left inside lifts the head a few hundredths above the surface and seen against the light the gap shows. Blowing it out with compressed air or running the bit through dry solves this problem before it arises.
The last piece of advice concerns the layout: a difference of one tenth between neighboring steps is visible on a model only when both sizes lie close to each other. At opposite ends of the machine, choose a larger jump instead.
