A bolt with an internal hex, that is a socket head bolt, has a head with no external flats and with an opening in the middle. On a model it differs from an ordinary hex at first glance: instead of edges you see a ring with a dark center, because the opening holds a shadow even after painting. A large washer emphasizes the joint further and visually settles it into the surface. On motorcycles such joints appear on brake discs, on covers and on the mounting of the tank, that is in places that stay exposed.
The parts measure 1.1 mm, that is a single size. You therefore do not have to choose, but it is advisable to check beforehand that the dimension fits the place the part belongs to. Hold it against the piece and compare it with the surrounding shapes; what decides is the match with the subject, not the scale in itself. The parts are not tied to a particular kit.
First level the place of installation so that the washer seats over its whole face. Carry the parts with tweezers and meter the cyanoacrylate glue with the tip of a wire straight into the place of installation. A drop applied to the part spreads across the washer and floods the opening in the head as well, which removes exactly the detail you are buying the bolt for. Mark out the layout in advance; with rows and pairs an irregularity shows at once. Degrease the parts before painting, as paint does not otherwise hold on a smooth surface.
