The word Base in the name signals that this is a base tone, on which highlights and shadows are then built up, while the AFV suffix places the shade in the group made for armored and wheeled vehicles. The paint is thinned with water and dries within a short time.
Always shake the bottle before use. For a brush, the paint goes on nearly undiluted; for an airbrush, thin it with water or acrylic thinner and spray in thin coats so engraved lines and rivet detail stay legible. For base green tones, modulation pays off: lighten the center of large areas slightly by adding a lighter shade, and darken recesses in turn. Then let the surface dry, apply a gloss varnish, add decals, and only then move on to weathering and a matte varnish.
