BATTLE GAME COLOR - Dark Mars Brown

Amazing Art Battle Game Color - dark red-brown (Dark Mars Brown)

Dark Mars Brown is a water-based acrylic modeling paint from the Battle Game Color range by Amazing Art, intended for painting figures, miniatures and wargaming armies. Dark Mars Brown is a dark red-brown recalling iron oxide, with a warm tone. The paint covers well, leaves a matte finish once dry and layers easily, so it serves for a base coat as well as for toning and picking out details. It is applied with a brush and, once thinned with water, with an airbrush too. It is thinned and cleaned exclusively with water or acrylic thinner, never with lacquer (nitro) thinner. On glossy, smooth surfaces apply a suitable primer first and lay the paint on in thin coats - that preserves both the coverage and the fine detail of the casting. It is not a kit but a consumable paint.

Use

• Leather straps, boots, bags and belts on figures
• Rust, old steel and worn metal surfaces
• Wood, earth and brown elements on bases and groundwork
• Shadow tones and a base under lighter brown highlights
• Mixing with the orange or red of the range for rust tones

Who the paint is for

For painters of figures and vehicles who need a dark red-brown for leather, wood and rust. It covers well for brush work, and once thinned with water it can be sprayed with an airbrush.

A water-based acrylic - clean brushes and the airbrush with water immediately after work, keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
