Dark Skull is a water-based acrylic modeling paint from the Battle Game Color range of Amazing Art, intended for painting figures, miniatures and wargaming armies. Dark Skull is a darker bone shade, a dirty beige with a grayish cast. The paint covers well, once dry it leaves a matte surface and it layers easily, so it will serve for a base coat as well as for tinting and bringing out detail. It is applied with a brush, and once thinned with water with an airbrush as well. It is thinned and cleaned exclusively with water or with acrylic thinner, never with lacquer (nitro) thinner. On glossy and smooth surfaces apply a suitable primer first and lay the paint on in thin coats; that keeps the coverage and the fine detail of the casting better. This is not a kit but a consumable paint.
For painters of figures and wargaming who shade bones and skulls or need a muted beige. It covers for a brush, and once thinned with water it also suits an airbrush.
