Tamiya braided hose (outer diameter 2.0 mm)

A modeling material for detailing, not a kit. The braided hose represents the metal braided lines used on real cars and motorcycles for brake, fuel and oil systems. The surface is a bright silver braid, and inside there is a double vinyl tube into which brass wire or the pin of a part can be pushed. The outer diameter is 2.0 mm and the inner one 0.8 mm, and it comes in a length of one meter, so it will cover a range of lines and several models.

Use

• Representing braided brake, fuel and oil hoses
• Detailing the engines and chassis of car models in 1:24 and 1:12 scale
• Detailing motorcycle models in 1:12 and 1:6 scale
• Slide the hose onto wire or the pin of a part and cut off the excess with a sharp knife
• With wire inserted, the hose can be given the shape you want and routed exactly after the real thing

The material will be appreciated by car and motorcycle modelers who want to raise the fidelity of the engine bay and the lines beyond the parts from the box. It suits more advanced builds, superdetailing and dioramas. Cut the hose to any length you like and finish the ends with small couplings or foil sleeves, so that it looks like real braided line. Always choose the particular shade and diameter according to the scale and the real thing.
