Brass pipes 1.8 mm, 5 pcs (AK interactive)

A set of five hollow brass pipes of 1.8 mm outside diameter. It is modeling material for scratch-building, not a kit. Brass cuts, bends and solders well, and hollow pipes serve as gun barrels, exhausts and piping.

Use

  • Hollow gun barrels in medium scales.
  • Exhaust pipes, stubs and stacks.
  • Heavier conduits, masts and antennas.
  • Reinforcements and a replacement for coarse plastic tubes.

Usage tips

Cut with a fine saw or a snap-off blade while rotating the pipe and clean the ends up; on barrels drill the muzzle out slightly. Adjacent diameters can be telescoped into one another. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or solder, and before painting degrease the brass and apply a metal primer.

The package contains 5 pipes of 1.8 mm outside diameter.

Level the end with a file or abrasive paper and, if needed, redrill the opening so that the mouth is clean and round.
