A thin brass rod 0.45 mm in diameter and 305 mm long. This is a modeling material, not a kit - it is the raw stock for details that simply cannot be made from plastic. The precision-drawn profiles of the British brand Albion Alloys hold a constant diameter along their whole length, so from a single piece you can draw a whole set of identical small parts.
Just under half a millimeter is the dimension for fine work. In the hand the rod is almost invisible, but unlike stretched sprue or fishing line it holds a perfectly straight line and will not go wavy even after years on the shelf.
Cut the rod with wire cutters or a fine saw and lightly sand the end so that no burr is left. Without degreasing and a primer, paint will not hold on smooth brass - on such a thin part any flaking shows immediately, so do not leave the primer out.
For detailers and superdetailers who take models in small scales all the way, for builders of biplanes and ships, and for anyone who works with resin or 3D printing and needs an inconspicuous but strong reinforcement.
The material is supplied on its own, without glue and paints. The cut-off ends are sharp and fly off - protect your eyes.
