Responsibility details are not available.
A set of six third-generation acrylic paints in bottles of 17 ml. It covers the basic camouflage shades of the vehicles of British and Allied formations deployed in North Africa and the Mediterranean from the middle of 1940 to the spring of 1943, a period in which the regulations changed several times.
Light gray, slate and the sand shades Light Stone and Portland Stone made up the so-called Caunter scheme used from July 1940 to roughly October 1941. After that a uniform sand finish was adopted, and from December 1941 it was permitted to add blotches in a chosen color. In October 1942 the desert pink Desert Pink came in as the basic shade, together with a dark olive green for drawing the pattern.
For modelers of military equipment focused on the fighting in North Africa, who want the period shades together rather than mixing them from ordinary sand tones. It suits desert dioramas and accessories as well.
Shake the bottle before use; the paint thins with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same manufacturer. Work in a ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
