The size Bullet-Proof Bolt w/Wrench Flats 0.5 mm stands at the boundary beyond which a part can be picked up for the first time even without tweezers. The box holds 312 pieces.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is at exactly this size that the way of working breaks: the smaller sizes call for a tool, while this part can already be held in the fingers. A 0.4 mm hole is drilled beforehand and the box holds 312 pieces.
Converted to reality it gives 1.75 centimeters in 1:35 scale and 2.4 centimeters in 1:48. It therefore sits where thicker plates are joined: the front plates of a hull, the feet of towing eyes, hatch frames, the mounts of running gear covers. It also works well on the superstructures of ship models and on heavy construction machinery, where joints tend to be exposed. It will serve equally well on the flanges of engine covers and on the mounts of the grilles over radiators.
Here the drill changes for the first time. Instead of three tenths you need four, and the following size shares the same hole, so the pair of five and six tenths of a millimeter can be fitted without re-equipping the hand drill. The number of pieces falls against the smaller sizes, because one part takes up more room on the print plate. Anyone building several models at once will appreciate that one drill serves two neighboring steps and the tool does not have to be changed in the middle of the work. Seat them a few pieces at a time, so that the glue does not set before you manage to line the heads up.
Glue, a drill and paints are not supplied with the part.
