AK Interactive Burnt Rust Red - a Burnt Rust Pigment (35 ml)

An ultra-fine dry pigment (a colored powder) from AK Interactive in a burnt red rust shade. It is not an opaque paint and not a kit but a loose powder in a 35 ml bottle. The saturated dark reddish-brown tone imitates old, deep rust and burnt corrosion deposits, so it suits long-corroding surfaces, undersides and above all burnt-out and fire-damaged vehicles, where it goes together with ash and soot. The pigment can be applied dry with a brush, or mixed with thinner and worked wet.

Use

• Apply it dry with a soft brush to deeply rusted areas and burnt places on a vehicle.
• For wet use, mix the pigment with a pigment fixer or with mineral spirits for dense corrosion deposits.
• Fix dry pigment with a drop of fixer, mineral spirits or a mist of matte varnish.
• Combine it with AK white ashes and black pigment for the faithful look of a burnt-out wreck.

For modelers of wrecks, long-abandoned and burnt-out vehicles and for builders of dioramas with old corrosion.

It is a fine powder: do not inhale it, do not eat it and work in a well-ventilated area; keep out of the reach of children. A model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
