The butterfly wing nut of 1.0 mm from the GAS HANS brand is a detail accessory, not a kit. It is used where on the real subject a joint is held by a winged nut tightened by hand: on clamps, hatches, brackets and removable covers. At this size the work is already at the limit of what the naked eye can see.
First prepare the spot: remove the original simplified shape, level the area and mark a shallow recess with the tip of a drill bit. That recess does most of the work during seating, because the part stays sitting in it by itself and you do not have to hold it. Work with tweezers with straight, fine tips, not curved ones, as curved tips shoot a small part off into the room. Choose a light, uniform mat and, before you start, clear from the bench everything the part could fall between.
Do not take the part off the mat with tweezers; lift it with a moistened tip of a toothpick or a stick and carry it to the spot. Dose the glue onto the model in advance, not onto the part, as a drop on the part will flood it before you manage to seat it. Count on some of the parts ending up on the floor; that is normal and not worth worrying about.
