A modeling paint from the Chameleon range, carried under the name Solar Anomalie in the range of the Green Stuff World brand. The shades of this range do not have one fixed tone: depending on the angle you look at a surface from and how light falls on it, the cast flows and the surface changes visibly as soon as you turn the model. Judge the exact rendering by the manufacturer's color chart, as a shifting shade cannot be shown faithfully on a screen.
The base decides. A shifting cast stands out only on a smooth, uniformly colored and well-cured surface, because every scratch and stain is heightened in it. The recommended base shade is given by the manufacturer on the packaging; keep to it. Apply in thin coats and let them set between one another; one thick coat rather smothers the effect. Shake the bottle before work and during it, as the particles that create the cast settle at the bottom. Use a thinner intended for this range and keep the thinning ratio to the manufacturer's instructions.
On models from the world of science fiction and fantasy, on figures for tabletop games, on car bodies, helmets and small accessories, that is where the point is not period accuracy but the impression. It also works well on a small area as a detail that contrasts with matte surroundings.
One package of paint is supplied. The base paint, thinner, varnish, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
